By accessing or using the Linguineo services, including our website and applications, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

2. User Accounts & Registration

  • You may browse Linguineo without registering, but certain features require an account.

  • You agree to provide accurate registration details and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • You must not create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or use offensive usernames.

  • Linguineo reserves the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Use of Services

  • Linguineo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our services for educational purposes.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize any content from our platform without permission.

  • You must comply with all applicable laws while using Linguineo.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

4.1 User-Generated Content

  • When using our content creation tools under a partnership or cooperation agreement, Intellectual Property (IP) rights on the created content typically remain with the user or their organization, subject to the specific terms of the agreement.

  • When there is no expliciet partnership or cooperation agreement, users grant Linguineo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, display, and distribute their content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on third-party rights.

4.2 Linguineo Content

  • All content provided by Linguineo is protected by copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property laws.

  • You may not use Linguineo’s content for commercial purposes without explicit permission.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Share false, misleading, or unlawful content.

  • Post offensive, discriminatory, or harmful material.

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit Linguineo’s services.

  • Violate privacy rights of others.

Linguineo reserves the right to remove content and suspend users engaging in prohibited activities.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

8. Termination & Account Deletion

  • Users can delete their accounts via the settings page.

  • Linguineo may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or for security reasons.

  • Anonymized data may be retained for service improvements.

9. Disclaimers & Liability Limitations

  • Linguineo is provided “as is” without warranties.

  • We are not responsible for service interruptions, loss of content, or external links.

  • Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms of Service and will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by Belgian law.

  • Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
